There are a number of podiatry-related practice management books available. The first book on the topic is from 1964 (Chiropodial Practice Management) and the other classic is from 1988 (Podiatric Marketing and Practice Management by Barry Block) which has not been updated, but still does contain some relevant pearls. Other books published since then are more or less relevant to the countries of the authors as the context of podiatry practice does vary from country to country. That is both a strength and weakness of each book. Some guidance in each book may or may not be relevant in other countries. It could also be that what is applicable in one country could be applied in another country to give them an edge. The same is also applicable to practice management books written for other clinical disciplines.
