Karger Publishers

Karger Publishers (S. Karger AG) is a medical and scientific publisher that was established in 1890 in Berlin by Samuel Karger. They relocated to Basel, Switzerland in 1937 due to political pressures from the Nazi regime in Germany at the time. They currently publish over 80 journals and they have over 9000 books on their list with 240 employees worldwide.
