About the author of Diagnostic Ultrasound of the Foot and Ankle:
John Tassone, Jr., DPM has been a practicing podiatrist since 1997. He is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at the McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, Virgina. He serves as an associate professor at Midwestern University and an adjunct professor in the Maricopa Community Cllege system. Dr. Tassone lectures nationally and is board certified in podiatry and lower extremity wound care.
Stephen L. Barrett, DPM is board certified in foot and ankle surgery and wound management. He earned his undergraduate degree (cum laude) from the University of Utah ins Salt Lake City and his doctorate (cum laude) at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Barrett completed his residency at the Medical Arts/Danforth Hospital in Houston, followed by a post-doctoral MBA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He has trained thousands of surgeons throughout the world on techniques he invented and developed.
