Should be no blood or trace amounts.
Presence of RBC’s (haematouria) urinary tract infection; SLE; polyarteritis nodosa; trauma
Presence of free haemoglobin (haemoglobinuria) burns; glomerulonephritis; crush injury
Presence of myoglobin (myoglobinuria) muscle trauma; muscular dystrophy
