Feehery Modification

The Feehery modification is the name given to a cuboid notch by Richard Blake, DPM after Raymond Feehery, DPM describing an intrinsic raising of the cuboid and lateral anterior calcaneus of the foot orthotic shell. It is the same as a cuboid notch, but extends posteriorly to include increasing support for the lateral anterior calcaneus. It was created by scooping out of the plaster in a positive model of the foot, but can now be done to the foot orthotic shell by CAD systems.
