Version 2 is very different to version 1 (released in 2020) with a wider midsole and a lot of cut out midsole on the medial side of the midfoot area leading to a greater separation of the forefoot and midfoot. Version 2 has a new upper.

Schematic breakdown of the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro version 1.
The Adizero Adios Pro 2 has a unique carbon fibre plate compared to other shoes that use these as it is a rigid plate in the rearfoot and stiff carbon rods in its midsole. These give a different ride feel compared to these other shoes. The outsole is a Continental rubber.
The stack height is 39.5 mm under the heel and 29.5 mm under the forefoot, creating a drop of 10mm. The weight is 227 g/8 oz (men’s 9/women’s 10.5)
