Single Subject Design (n=1):

• Repeated measure of a single subject over time
• Variability of response of single subject is obscured in group studies

Designs:
A-B (the participant is monitored during a baseline phase (A) and the phase (B) following intervention)
A-B-A (the participant is monitored during a baseline phase (A) and the phase (B) following intervention and then again during a phase (A) after the intervention is withdrawn)
A-B-A-B
A-B-C-B

Data analysis:
1) Visual analysis of graphs
2) Statistical analysis: a) Split-Middle line
b) Two standard deviation band method
c) Time series analysis
