Dad's Army Foot Inspection
Dad’s Army is a comedy about the British Home Guard during World War II that was broadcast on the BBC from 1968 to 1977. Boots, Boots, Boots is the third episode of the fourth series originally broadcast on Friday 9 October 1970.

In this episode, Captain Mainwaring (Arthur Lowe) gave a lecture on the feet and it all comes down to the three F’s: fast feet, functional feet and fit feet. Sergeant Wilson (John Le Mesurier) then unrolls a picture to show a foot that is covered in bruises, corns and bunions, all due to ill-fitting shoes. Mainwaring then inspects everyone’s feet before and after a march.
