Fosravuconazole (Nailin) is an oral triazole antifungal agent approved for the treatment of onychomycosis in Japan since 2017. It has a broad and potent antifungal activity. Fosravuconazole is also effective in treating mycetoma.
Fosravuconazole is a prodrug that is converted into ravuconazole and the mechanism of action is considered to be the inhibition of ergosterol biosynthesis.
