Müller-Weiss Syndrome is an uncommon spontaneous avascular necrosis of the navicular bone in feet that are skeletally mature. Kohlers disease is the closest equivalent condition in the paediatric foot. It was first described by Walther Müller in 1927 and by Konrad Weiss in 1927, both in the German literature:
