Controversy:
The OMICS Publishing Group is the subject of some controversy in the nature of its practices. These include an alleged poor quality peer review processes; listing of editorial board members without consent; and the use of prominent experts on editorial boards who have no input into the processes. They have been listed on a list of predatory open access publishers and the modus operandi of these type of publsihers was exposed in The Hindu.
