Desmoplastic fibroma/Desmoid tumour:
Rare. Locally aggressive and does not metastasise. Involve bone and/or soft tissue.
Tibia and fibula are common sites.
X-ray – lesion located in metaphysis or diaphysis – surrounded by thin margin of minimally reactive bone – may have a trabeculated appearance.
Treatment – wide excision followed b y radiotherapy.
