Thermoplastic – used in sheet form to heat mold via vacuum press the orthotic shell.
Easier to heat mold around deeper countours (eg heel cup) than polypropylene
Lightweight, strong, flexible, excellent stress crack resistance.
Molds well over deep heel cups and flanges.
Can be thinned without cracking.
