Onychodystrophy is not a diagnosis and is a ‘catch-all’ term for a change in the morphology of the nail and can be due to a wide range of different nail disorders. It can be due to infections, trauma, chemicals and systemic medical conditions.

Trauma; psoriasis; onychoschiza; lichen planus; bacterial infection; contact dermatitis; paronychia; nail bed tumors; onychauxis; onychogryphosis; onychomycosis
