Tibialis posterior:
• patient supine with leg externally rotated
• stabilises the leg, just above the ankle joint.
• test inversion of the foot and plantarflexion of the ankle joint by applying a force against the medio-plantar surface of the foot, in the direction of dorsiflexion of the ankle joint and eversion of the foot.
