Tenotomy
Indications- flexible mallet toe
Procedure:
• Transverse incision at flexion crease of toe
• Spread with lateral and medial retraction
• Cut tendon
Post-op- toe splinted in extension at 3 weeks
Rehab- toe extension exercises
Complications- infection; recurrence
