STJ arthroeresis
Uses synthetic material to block STJ motion.
Indicated in younger patients, especially if transverse plane motion is great.
StaPeg:
Polyethylene plug in sinus tarsi
Blocks adduction and plantarflexion of talus
LeLevre:
Silicone polymer plug in sinus tarsi.
Not as stable and durable as StaPeg.
Villadot:
Silicone polymer plug shaped like an hour glass.
More stable than LeLevre.
Maxwell:
Polyethylene
