Polson is is a city in and the county seat of Lake County, Montana on the southern shore of Flathead Lake by the Rocky Mountains as part of the Flathead Indian Reservation. It is surrounded by fertile farming areas and a cherry growing region. In the 2020 census, the population was 5148, up from 4488 in the 2010 census and 4041 in 2000.
