William Orien, Bill Orien, DPM, Podiatrist
William Orien, DPM(1935-2017):

William “Bill” Orien was part of the “Root, Weed and Orien” team that revolutionized biomechanics and the use of foot orthotics in the podiatry profession.

He had a podiatry practice in Beverly Hills, California.

Obituary from the Los Angele Times, December 14, 2017:

October 19, 1935 – December 10, 2017 In his life he helped advance the podiatric field and loved what he did. His major accomplishment was being a great human being, husband, father, poppy and uncle. Early on Sunday Bill succumbed to complications from pneumonia and COPD. He is survived by his wife Sharron, the love of his life for 55 years, 3 children, 6 grandchildren, nephew and family. Services will be held Sunday, December 17 at 1pm at Hollywood Forever on Santa Monica and Gower. And, not breaking Bill Orien fashion, all are welcome. May he find peace and a good glass of scotch.
