Middle Ear Infection

Middle Ear Infection:
Either viral or bacterial infections – enter ear from the nose and throat. May be due to a blockage of the sinuses and tubes by infection, or by infection introduced through a ruptured eardrum.

Clinical features:
Earache, pulling at the ear, mild fever, irritability, hearing loss.

History of repeated inner ear infections  affects vestibular apparatus  balance problems.
