Type one – Jone’s fracture – transverse through diaphyseal metaphyseal junction
Type two – intra-articular avulsion fracture
Type three – extra-articular avulsion fracture
Type four – intra-articular comminuted fracture
Type five – extra-articular avulsion fracture of the apophysis
