Anterior drawer test

Anterior drawer test:
For anterior cruciate ligament stability. Knee flexed 90º – patient’s foot kept stable by examiner ‘sitting’ on it – Tibia is drawn forward to test for amount of movement and quality of end range of motion. Compare to normal side. Tibia can be internally or externally rotated to test anterolateral and anteromedial stability.
