Deep posterior compartment:
Clinical features:
Ache along medial border of tibia – maybe pain in calf. Generally a feeling of tightness or ‘bursting’ sensation.
Treatment:
Reduction of activity; soft tissue therapy – transverse frictions; correct biomechanics; surgery – fasciotomy
