Apraxia (dyspraxia):
Unable to carry out purposeful learned motor acts – despite having physical ability and willingness to do so.
movements are awkward and do not resemble the intended ones
indicative of involvement of dominant hemisphere or dementia in which there is a disorder in higher order planning or conceptualisation of the motor task
