Motor/effector endings:
Nerves to muscle contain both sensory and motor fibres
Motor fibre are of 3 types – large myelinated alpha fibres, small gamma myelinated fibres, and small non-myelinated C fibres.

Motor unit:
• defined as the single alpha motor neuron and the muscle fibre that it innervates

Neuromuscular junction/motor end plate:
Alpha fibres enter muscle and divide  each branch terminates as motor end plate
