diminution or loss of tendon reflex most commonly due to:
polyneuropathy (eg diabetes)
syringomyelia
hereditary ataxia’s
lumbosacral disc protrusion
poliomyelitis
congenital absence of reflex
• exaggeration of tendon reflexes most commonly due to:
• states of anxiety
• upper motor neuron lesion
