Approximately 75% of head of talus articulates with navicular
Long axis of head and neck of talus points approximately to the centre of the head of the first metatarsal
Lateral view:
Irregular shaped
Long axis of head and neck of talus points approximately to the centre of the head of the first metatarsal
Can see posterior and middle subtalar joint facets and talo-tibial joint
