Somatoform Disorders
Somatisation:
characterised by multiple symptoms – usually include gastrointestinal or sexual symptoms
Conversion:
• unexplained neurologic motor disorder or sensory deficit
Hypochondriasis:
• preoccupation with or fear of serious disease leads to an inordinate focus on body functions or symptoms
Body Dysmorphic:
• preoccupied with an exaggerated or imagined physical appearance deficit
