Pulmonary embolism

Most commonly a deep vein thrombosis from lower limb.

Rapid onset of chest pain; shortness of breath; tachypnoea; tachycardia; dyspnoea; haemoptysis; hypotension; loss of consciousness

Management:
Oxygen; loosen clothing; place semi-erect; CPR if necessary.
Hospitalise – heparin sulphate IV
