Parathyroid hormone resistance syndrome/Pseudohypoparathyroidism:
Syndrome that consists of increased secretion of parathyroid hormone, target tissue unresponsiveness to PTH, decreased levels of calcium and increased levels of phosphate.
Short fourth metacarpal (when clench fist ‘knuckle, knuckle, dimple, knuckle’ sign) occurs in up to 70% (up to 40% have short fourth metatarsal).
