Arize Orthotic Solution is a custom-made foot orthotic service in the USA formally announced July 29, 2021 by Hewlett-Packard (HP Inc). They are now part of the Edser group of foot orthotic labs. The system consists of a digital foot scanner, cloud based prescription of the foot orthoses and 3D printing of the foot orthoses at a central facility. The press release described it as “a new end-to-end digital orthotic solution for podiatrists and orthotists”.
Hewlett-Packard are best known for computers, laptops, printers and other devices. In addition to HP’s involvement with Arize, they are a global supplier of 3d printing solutions to a wide range of foot orthotic laboratories.
Developed in collaboration with podiatrists and leading industry experts, Arize is a new digital solution that helps podiatrists create custom foot orthoses tailored to the patient, quickly, easily, accurately, and reliably. The Arize Orthotic Solution leverages HP 3D Printing technology and aims to further HP’s mission to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. A trademark application was filed by Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.for the ‘Arize’ name on 8 June 2021.
