Polymorphous light eruption (PMLE)

Relatively common.
Usually begins <30 years.
Numerous polymorphic skin lesions
May be positive family history of sunlight sensitivity
Lesions have a ‘photodistribution’ – face, neck, chest, dorsal arms, hands

Treatment – sunscreens; topical steroids, beta-carotene, antimalarials
