Used to test for contact allergy. Suspected allergens are placed on skin beneath patches. Patch test kits are available.
Indications:
• Suspicion of contact dermatitis based on history and physical
• Chronic dermatitis of unknown cause
• Dermatitis that worsens or partially responds to treatment
