The Foot Strength Plan: Healthy Feet, the Truth About Orthotics, and More
The Foot Strength Plan: Healthy Feet, the Truth About Orthotics, and More is a consumer book by Colin Dombroski.

Healthy, strong feet. That’s the goal of this book. Why? Perhaps you’re achy and sore at the end of a work day, standing on concrete. Or maybe you want your feet to feel better during or after exercise. Our feet connect us to every step we take. Why not make your connection to the ground stronger, improve your balance and gain back control over each step. This book offers a step by step guide (and some humor) to get your feet working for you. Injuries of all kinds, like plantar fasciitis, bunions, metatarsalgia, and more can benefit from health, strong feet. When you move better, you’ll feel better.

“If you’ve ever had sore feet or had the challenge of trying to help someone with sore feet in a clinic setting you’ll know how deeply it can impact many facets of life. In this book, Dr. Dombroski outlines a proven plan for strengthening your feet whether you’re currently injured, preventing injury or looking to challenge your friends to a game of Pick-up Sticks… with your toes.
The Foot Strength Plan is an easy to follow guide full of mobility, balance, and strength exercises that gradually progress from beginner to advanced.
I appreciate Dr. Dombroski’s no-nonsense approach to helping everyone from podium-bound Olympians to new parents bouncing and pacing through the night to octogenarians keeping up their daily walking routine. As a pedorthist, I started seeing a reduction in reported symptoms in my clients who have implemented the tips outlined in this book both with and without use of orthotics. As such, I encourage it as required reading for foot specialists, athletes, and anyone trying to recover from or prevent foot-related injuries.”
