The foot and joint hypermobility syndrome:
Hypermobility  affects ability of foot to become a stable structure.
Plantar fasciitis is a common problem in JHS.
During weightbearing, hallux can be dorsiflexed to >90 degrees.

Foot orthoses due to severe pes planus/flat/pronated foot  associated pathology – “…Thus the podiatrist can make an important contribution to the patient’s overall treatment and improve the quality of life of hypermobile subjects” .
