First MPJ Implants
Indicated for moderate to severe deformity; adequate neurovascular status; good bone stock.
Contraindications – peripheral neuropathy; osteoporosis; allergy to implant materials
Relative contraindications – young active patient; infection.
Hemi-implant:
Functions as a spacer (not a true endoprosthesis)
