About the authors of Podiatric Medical Assisting:
Leonard Levy DPM was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, New York University, NY College of Podiatric Medicine. He was one of the first podiatrists be obtain a MPH degree (from Columbia University). He served as the dean and later president of the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr Levy was the founding dean of the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. With Vincent Heatherington, DPM, he authored the book Principles and Practice of Podiatric Medicine.
