Misplaced decimal point is common error
Dosage:
Loading dose – Vd is the determinate of the loading dose; may need different dose if Vd is disturbed (eg in infection
Maintenance dose – CL is the determinate of maintenance dose; a number of factors alter this (eg age, genetics, disease, etc)
Dose interval – determined by t1/2; also affected by therapeutic index, mode of administration and patient compliance
