Anterolateral corner compression syndrome of ankle:
Thought to be a posttraumatic chrondromalacia of lateral articular area of talus.
Usually have history of lateral ankle sprain. Pain is over anteroinferior aspect of lateral malleolus.
Management – activity modification; medial heel wedge/orthoses may alter alignment of joint; NSAID’s
