Flexor tenosynovitis:
Can mimic other conditions that cause ‘metatarsalgia’ in forefoot. Pain tends to spread proximally and distally to metatarsal head- may get a fusiform swelling of toe. Pain can be increased by palpating tendon while dorsiflexing toe.
