Coughlin and Shurmas Classification:
Grade 0: normal radiograph; no pain; mild decrease on range of motion; as low as 40^o dorsiflexion
Grade 1: osteophytes; no joint space narrowing; as low as 30^o dorsiflexion
Grade 2: <25% joint space narrowing; as low as 10^o dorsiflexion
Grade 3: >25% joint space narrowing; no pain; as low as 10^o dorsiflexion
Grade 4: >25% joint space narrowing; pain; as low as 10^o dorsiflexion
