Autosomal recessive; mostly Jewish children; may be due to degeneration of reticular nuclei of brain stem. Clinical features – blotching of skin; hyperhidrosis; hyporeflexia; hypotonia; insensitive or indifferent to pain; intellectual disability; seizures
