Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency/Hypofunction:
Due to lack of ACTH from hypothalamic or pituitary disease (eg hypopituitarism; pituitary gland tumour) – also can occur after abrupt withdrawal of long term corticosteroid therapy.
Clinical features:
Not hyperpigmented (like Addison’s)
