“If pronation alters limb length, causes functional leg shortening, compensates for longer leg, or causes sacroiliac dysfunction
• If pronation lowers superior iliac spine on ipsilateral side relative to neutral foot positioning, orthoses are indicated for a functional LLD.
• If iliac spine is leveled by pronation of feet, heel lift is indicated on the side opposite leveling pronation.
• If pronation decreases ASIS and increases ipsilateral posterior superior iliac spine, orthoses are indicated to resolve asymmetric pelvic pronation.”
