Peroneus tertius:
Proximal attachment – distal 1/4 of anterior medial surface of fibula; interosseous membrane
Distal attachment – dorsal surface of 5th metatarsal base
Open chain function – ankle dorsiflexion and tarsal eversion
Nerve supply – deep peroneal (L5, S1)
Arterial supply – anterior tibial artery
