PodiaPaedia has decided to only list those Twitter accounts who have a Klout score above 40 to avoid listing a large number of irrelevant Twitter accounts. We only want to add those Twitter users with clout (Klout). Please contact us if you want to be listed or know anyone that should be listed.
Klout was founded in 2009 and is a website and app that uses data from the social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Instagram to rank users according to how much online social influence they have. The so-called "Klout Score" ranges from 1 to 100, with higher scores indicating a greater online social media influence. It not only considers the content created, but the interaction with that content. The average Klout score is around 40, which is what our decision is based on for the listings.
The real advantage of the Klout score is not what your own score is, but it can help identify whom in your niche or sector carry the weight and influence for you to evaluate and engage with.
