NYPD Police Officer Shoots Podiatrist in the Foot

Dr Nester’s podiatry office in Oceanside, MA.

A 77 year old retired NYPD police officer accidentally shot himself in the leg and his Podiatrist, Dr Matthew Nester DPM in the foot while showing off his gun while at the podiatry clinic. Both were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No criminal charges were laid and the police ruled it as an accident.

The irony of a podiatrist being shot in the foot did not escape a mention by a lot of commentators.
